I reckon we all are more or less in some sort of boat, that includes me. I have been trying since the beginning of the year for a Debt Consolidation Loan, but to no avail . I own a house, myself & my wife work, we have a combined salary of approx R32k after tax. Our total debt is about R150k, but I have seen so many doors close in my face, I get nightmares about doors.

All the banks advertise that when you in trouble you must come & chat to them, what a load of bull. I must also add that wife had a bit of bad history last year. She does however have no debt anymore. So if there is anyone out there that can do anything, I ask you please HELP.

What's the reason you get declined? Credit rating?
