Debt Consolidation 3 Years, 11 Months ago Helpful?: 0
I am self employed. I am trying to consolidate my debt that is about R100000. If there is someone who can help, please let me know. My credit rating isn't the best as last year things where bad and I was borrowing for "Peter" to pay "Paul" and now I am trying to pay it off.

Hi all
I have been struggling for the past 4 months searching on the internet for a consolidation loan. No1 can basically assist you with the this problem. Both my husband and myself is full-time employed with an income of just under R20 000 (before deductions). our debt only amounts to R97 000 but still no1 can help. we have our own property as well.

If there is any1 out there who knows a company who can assist kindly inform me.

sincerely

Same boat here. We earn R23000 together. Our debt we want consolidated is around R50000. We own property, yet all the doors get closed in our faces.....

Our next step...Sell the house, pay debts and rent for the rest of our lives

Has anyone had any luck with trying to secure a loan. We're basically in the same boat. We have property, can afford repayments on a loan if debt is consolidated with the possibility of exceeding the minimum monthly repayment required. I suppose you're right Herbst, sell up and rent for the rest of our natural lives... at this stage seems like the only option.

Hi my husband and I are in debt of about 120 thousand -we are both blacklisted and own no property - the debt increased over time as we juggle payments each month. This is obviously getting worst. We have approached the bank and for obvious reasons they can't assist us. where to from here? My hubby earns a fairly good salary but we are still unable to make ends meet. It seems that most assistance is offered to people with property and who are not blacklisted. We WANT to consolidate our debt, clear our name and eventually own our own property. We can afford repayments on a loan if debt is consolidated with the possibility of exceeding the minimum monthly repayment required. Can anyone recommend a honest/legal debt consolidation company.
